Our third Great Get Together in memory of MP Jo Cox took place on the Green on the afternoon of June 22nd. Several hundred people attended over the day and we saw many happy children enjoying the bouncy castle, sports equipment and dance displays… and many happy grown ups enjoying the community bar and great weather.
Special thanks to Val Holland, our caretaker and vice-Treasurer at Haywood Road Community Centre, and her daughters Annabelle and Imogen, for all their efforts in organising the event.
