Haywood Road Community Centre is located on Mapperley Top at 46 Haywood Road. It has been in existence since the 1960s and has hosted all manner of community groups, societies and children’s parties over the years, it is also the home of Haywood Road Pre-School.
Following a ‘Community Asset Transfer’ from the council it is now run by volunteers from the community.
Haywood Road Community Centre has two halls, The Main Hall and The Committee Room. Both of which can be hired out. It also has 2 small rooms that can be hired out. Please email us at bookings@haywoodroad.uk for more information.
There is free on street parking surrounding the venue.
The adjacent green space has also been saved from housing development and Gedling Borough Council have re-developed the site to provide a children’s play area and park. For all enquiries regarding the play area and park, please contact Gedling Borough Council directly.
