The long awaited development of Haywood Road Green has now been completed and it looks superb. The area has been landscaped with newly seeded grass and trees, a play park has been added along with two table tennis tables and benches. Within around 10 minutes of the park being completed there were children playing on it and it has been busy all day, every day since then.
The official opening of the new park will be Saturday 14th September where we’ll be celebrating from 12pm – 5pm with the cutting of the ribbon by the Mayor of Gedling taking place at 1pm. See below for what’s on!
