On July 1st, Haywood Road hosted the Health and Fitness Zone as part of the Porchester Festival. Activities were held on the Green and in the Community Centre and included Yoga, Tai-chi, Taekwondo and Pilates. There were also lots of stalls from local groups, a bouncy castle, a child-friendly mini-Silent Disco, some stylish Henna hand painting and a dance display from Studio 3. Well done to Val and her daughters for organising it all and thanks to everyone who helped out or came along to support it – including our local MP Vernon Coaker, pictured below with Val.
